  • How could i do it twice in one night.

Well suggestive titles aside but How could i do it twice in one night here gos.
My lipos came from hong kong today flightmax 2200mah 3 cell they had connectors on i haven't seen before so got out the soldering iron to put on ec3.
Got my pliers on started twisting and SPARK shorted it carried on got the ec3 on put it on the charger CONNECTION BREAK wont connect so ****ed off a bit so what do i do but turn my attention to the other and to cut a long story short shorted that one also i cannot believe i did it twice finished the ec3 connector on it put it on the balance charger it works its on charge now it had 3.79 volts per cell in it so hopefully saved one .
I have opened up the first one to see if any wires blew off it but they are all still connected any ideas or is it fu*ked.
    Thanks david the battery wrecker

And I thought I wasn't much cop at electronics!

I changed my connectors one at a time - remove the old connector, fit the new one, heat shrink it. Then do the next...

Most of the Aligns, fair few Spektrum bits, bunch of Align & HiTec servos, OBE, VD & Bar.

Get someone else to do your battries. On a serious note If you have a crappy charger that you get with the belt CP give it a 10 min charge with that see if it recovers.

Do it out in the garden on a extension lead JIC. I have recoved one before.

No when i bought my blade it came with a digital display charger and when i put it on it just says connection break which the instructions say the battery ain't connected properly.
I dont know if there is any charge in it as i dont want to put it on the blade in case it fries it.

I wouldn't as you need to charge all the cells at the same time. The e-sky one charges via the balence lead only, but all the cells get a charge.
