        Guys,

Prior to purchasings my charger i got in touch with Sportsmoto who confirmed that the overland RC-6S is actually a re-branded KDS RC-6S charger. They sell both of them.....

Bear in mind that this charger is avalible in charger only, and charger and AC power supply packages

Sportsmoto Ltd Li Poly Chargers & Power Supplys

£55 for KDS With power supply, leads and temperature probe
£67 for the Overlander with power supply, leads and temperature probe

        Why pay more?

        To further confirm
        Overlander Instruction Manual
        KDS Instruction Manual

I bought the KDS/Overlander charger, and i'm very impressed with it for the money

        Thanks

        Matt

The multiplex charger is just a Prodigy II in a different guise. There were 3 or 4 same chargers in different branded boxed.

this might seem like a stupid question but do all lipo baterys have to be balanced

No, they don't have to be balanced, but you are definitely better off balance charging them to give them their best chance at a long life.

I also use the 10S (and it's predecessor, the 6S) charger for LiPos - unbeaten as yet IMO.
              Cheers,

Quick update on my new charger
It looks to me to be much like the Prodigy it replaces (for me), i.e. charge/discharge/cycle capabilities, but also with balance charging of LiPos up to 6S built in too.
Noisy damn thing (loud beeps) while programming it though!
                LOL
                Cheers,

prop peak constellation. Somtimes only £45.00 but you will have to buy the huge power unit if you dont want to be stuck using a battery all the time. Charges, discharges anything you can think of, 10 memories and you batteries last for ages.
Well, thats what I have and I havent lost a battery through charging yet.
No, no. I meant to do that.

                    This is weird.
My Prodigy II has come back to life - waving like a girl and charing like... a charger?

Seems to be perfectly fine - don't think it liked the 12v PB batteries I was using.
Shall keep the Overlander charger in mind though..
                    Cheers all!
