actually Outrage weren't replacing the packs he was getting back from customers, so he did all he could do which was direct customers directly at Outrage for replacement as the warranty is with the manufacturer not the retailer. This is part of the reason he and Outrage have parted company.

I don't know if it did finally get resolved but he was seriously out of pocket at one point.

Just putting the record straight here. I no longer have any dealings with Rupert as the Outrage bit is gone, this is just what I know of what was happening at the time.

Have to agree with Ash,that comment about Rupert is a bit harsh

Outrage were to blame as they refused to act a few months ago

Maybe Outrage have made some commercial decisions both in consumer care and wholesale accounting.

Either way.... all has ended in an ammicable result on this occasion

I concur, last year I had an identical issue 2x faulty 6s 3300mah packs bought from Blink. Rupert tried to help, he even phoned me up to see how it was going. At first Outrage didn't seem to want to know so I posted my displeasure on this forum. The same day I was PMed directly by Outrage to find out what was going on and what they could do to rectify things. I got my XP25 packs replaced with NRG packs, they also sold me a 90 pipe and a NRG pack for my 450 at half price by way of an apology. The 450 NRG packs seem pretty good so far, I have not had a chance to try the 6s NRGs yet.
So it took a bit of emailing and some time but in the end Outrage came through. I would use their products again. If only they would get their products out to several retailers rather than just the one I would probably get a Velocity, I still might. Nothing against FL I use them a lot, I just don't like relying on one shop for spares. It's bad enough with only two choices on the Srimok.

More problems with Outrage, one of my, just under 1 year old, XP25 6s 2500mah packs has failed, can't be more than 30 cycles on it. It looks ok, not puffed, but will only keep the Helicopter in the air for about 30 seconds. Charged on a Cellpro 10s.

Phoned Fast Lad where I got it from, along with 3 others, spoke to some guy who said it only has a six month warranty, that's it nothing more can be done.

To be honest it doesn't make much difference, I had already made up my mind to buy the budget Lipo's in the future anyway, IMO its just not worth paying £90 for one battery.
