Newbie Lipo or NiMH Advice

I am slowly gathering together components for my first heli, which will be a 50 size, but am unsure as to what Rx battery setup to go for. I will be using digital servos so have narrowed it down to either high capacity NiMH packs or lipos with a regulator.

I would appreciate any advice on the advantages/disadvantages of both options as well as any specific reccomendations.

I will be using a Prodigy 2 charger if this makes a difference.

I am using a 4cell sub-C NiMH RX pack on both my Raptors. Both have 3 9255 servos, 401 gyro with 9254 and governors. I use about 400mah per flight (8mins) from the pack. I usually charge every two or three flights if I am throwing it about or more if I am doing hovering manoeuvres type stuff. Lipo stuff shouldn’t be as heavy but will cost you a bit more.
