Deans and Align 3S Lipo extension leads

Hi all - the balance leads on my LiPos are a bit on the short side ... I like to charge them in a Liposack - and as some of the balance leads are only a couple of inches it isn't easy to get the battery into the sack when connected to the charger.

So do you guys know where I could get some kind of extension lead? This is for a 11.1v 3S LiPo type battery....and if I can also get an extension for the Deans connector at the same time that would be handy. Doesn't need to be massively long...6" to 12" would be fine.

If you own a soldering gun of some description make your own.

I made some in 5 minutes flat for the same purpose.

1 Male deans.

1 Female deans.

Job done..

well...

I did figure I could probably make my own for the Deans if I had to - but what about the balance lead...that is the main problem as it is so short...and I don't think they are the sort of connector you can solder (or at least I sure couldn't )

so...any ideas on how to extend them?

Think your going to have to live with it mate unless someone can suggest something else..

I know you can buy extension cables for CellPro balance leads/packs - but not sure if the same thing exists for Align based packs.
You could always use one of the CellPro leads and modify the connectors to fit what your pack uses?

If you use a cellpro 4S charger to charge the pack with an adaptor board, an extension would fit between the charger and the adaptor board just fine...

well....I've been hunting around and I have found a place in the US that does a 3S Align balance extension lead:

which looks about right...and only about £2.50 or so...although no idea what postage is yet!

regarding extending the Deans cable....would this work? Is 'Ultra Deans' compatible? Banana to male Deans would do the job nicely

i bought a 10pk of these from hobbyking and they all head connection problems when you moved them a little so i threw them all away and when i searched on the net everyone seems to be selling exactly the same one.
