My Pro Peak Prodigy works on the flight box battery, but when I plug it into the lighter socket on the car I get "Battery input voltage error" any ideas guys.

Tried switching polarity and turning car on.

    1]Bad connection somewhere, or
2]your car battery is overcharged due to a faulty regulator(probably not, cos you would be blowing fuses/bulbs and god knows what electronic doohickies), or
3] your battery is undercharged(probably not as you would also notice the effects of this when starting),or
    3] fag ash
probably first thing though, does the lighter actualy glow red?

      1] No
      2] No
      3] No
      4] Yes

Tried on 2 different cars,(one which was being used to charge) still the same.

Check voltage of car battery and field cell, is the car battery higher?
Maybe your prodigys have a flakey cut off point, it might have been badly set at factory
triple check connections, including the contact between plug and socket, (not all plugs/sockets are created equal, I have had problems with some

Sorry none of the above. As stated before I have checked and tried on different cars.
