    Hi
    I've just bought a 2S lipo battery from hobbykinguk for my Trex 600N but when its came I've noticed its a 6.6v not a 7.4v this is news to me as I thought I cell was 3.7v
    will this still work on the RX

    Probably still work although that sounds like a LiFe pack and not a LiPo. List the pack you bought

        LiFe packs are often used specifically for receiver/servos because their lower voltage is more compatible with standard servos, so you often don't need a regulator. A LiPo is too high voltage (unregulated) for normal servos but ok for HV servos.

        LiFe cells are less 'fragile' than LiPo, they don't tend to puff up and are less sensitive to being left fully charged.

            If you are using 2S LiFe on a Align 2 in 1 reg it won't illuminate the how much is left in the battery warning lights properly as it's designed for a 2S Lipo, I tried one on my Trex 600N 2 in 1 and it worked but a bit iffy when you have to guess how much is left in the pack.

              Hi thanks for that I do have the align 2 in 1 on my trex 600 so for the price of them I will order a 2s lipo
