Parallel Charge JST packs on PL8?

Hi all,

What's the cheapest/easiest way to parallel charge small (~500mAh) 3S Lipos with a JST connector, using a PL8? I have the fused MPA board - should I just get some EC5 to JST connectors?

Or do I pull the red/black banana leads out of the PL8 and use this (http://electriflyer.co.uk/4mm-to-jst-mini-x-6-parallel/) leaving the balance lead of the MPA board plugged in for the LiPo balance plugs?

I might be reading this wrong Harry but you can charge the packs on just the balance plug alone. You don't need the main discharge leads. As long as you're not trying to charge them 5C should be fine. Only the PL8 will allow this the 6 won't

They're 3S 500mAh, and I'll be charging 4 at once. Would the balance ports provide enough current?

Flicking through the manual, but I can't find where it says how to do it?

I thought I could only use MPA fused boards with the PL8? Do I need to change the wiring mode to use that? Cheers!

Nevermind, just been reading this. It is not possible using the MPA board to parallel charge using only balance leads. I'll just make up some banana to JST adapters. £5 should see me right
