  • More Li-Po questions!

Folks - My LHS sold me a Worley MCMR Lithium charger for my li-po's and having visited the company website I can't find the instructions, although I now know they make nuclear power stations so the charger should be sweet! http://www.worley.com.au

My LHS also yesterday sold me the Thunder Power gen 2 2100mah Li-Po for my T-Rex.

The problem is that the charger has 2 dials. Dial 1 is to select the number of cells, 1 to 4, and Dial 2 is to select the max current, from 300mah to 1800mah is 300mah increments.

Now my new battery is 2100mah, the charger goes to 1800mah... do I need to buy another charger? Help!

I have a 1600 LiPo in my Zoom that gives me about 15 mins flying - what I tend to do is have 2x 6/7 minute flights - If you fly the battery out at one go the motors tend to get very hot.
You don't need another charger all that will happen is it will take longer to charge than if you had a charger capable of giving a 2100 mah charge.
The really important thing to watch is the correct dialing for the number of cells.
I have a Graupner ultra duo 30 and it senses the number of cells automatically.
