Just seen prices and not that impressed as these use to be a bargain pack from GS nearly Opti prices so might as well buy those

For those that arnt aware yet then Fastlad is the new UK distributer for Gensace. Ive just recieved some for testing so no doubt ill write up a little something and see how they hold up. First impressions are they look very robust and amazing quality for the price. Will get some EC5s on them tomorrow and see how they go

I would certainly buy the Gens Ace over the other brand mentioned but its cheaper to source them from Hong Kong than in the uk but for sure they are good packs.

I will be trying some of these but i have too many lipos at the moment and by Christ i cant kill my oldest Turnigys off to make room for them,a 6s 3300 in my Goblin 500 for 5 mins 3d,75 degrees after flight and puffed,2.9v per cell and its still bloody OK FFS.

Flew it again in my Logo 600 paired with its partner and it did a sensible flight duration perfectly cool and not puffed.

I am gonna really get serious with them now

Exactly, FL make them more readily available but the price has shot up to a premium. Shouldn't the prices fall when they move larger numbers ?

Yeah I was shocked price shot up so much, mind you that happened when GC turned into GS!
it would be a shame if they have shot up just to match other brands because they know there is demand.
the 130x packs are more than double from when I purchased last lot

Thing is, surely if the price goes up too much, demand will go down and they'll ultimately struggle to shift them?

Yeah it's a shame...

I love gens ace packs but they are too expensive for me now really. I keep an eye out for the sales they run occasionally (talking the eu website here) and used that as an opportunity to pick up some 5000mah 45C last time. At 30% off they are still within reason for me.

Unfortunately I think they've gone a bit too far with the price hike... They have for me at least.

If I buy a 12s pack will I need a charger capable of charging 12s or does it have two main leads to charge 6s at a time?
if I buy two 6s packs it comes out $20-30 more expensive than one 12s pack so it would be good if I didn't have to buy a new charger....

Yes mate. They split into 6s for charging and you need a small harness for your Heli.
