    It has no signs of damage to the cells...

    Hmmm. that would play on my mind if it was in an expensive model.
    i am inexperienced but picky about batteries
    1x EGS, TREX 450 PRO DFC & 130X. DX9 radio. No idea what i am doing trying to fly

      Probably a good idea to run through a few charge discharge cycles somewhere safe, like were it won't matter if it smokes or goes up. See if it keeps it charge for a few weeks.
      Flasher 450 Sport. Assan GA250 with 520 tail servo, MKS DS450 cyclic.

        I have just charged it up with no probs...int res is at normal figures,it tacho'd by the strap and not the carbon frames.

        I will leave it on the patio tonight lol

          I am probably a little complacent, or maybe a tight git? But I have had several damaged more than that of yours and am still flying with them. No problems during the last 2 years. I even have one that fried 1 cell of a 6s pack. I fly it as a 5 cell and have had around 40 GOOD flights with it as a warm up pack and it comes down hardly warm.
          Been there and done that, but never stop learning.
          Now too many Helis to mention?

            I think it will be fine,it's held up over night,the heli never went in hard,the lipo came unplugged doing tic tocs at 0 pitch so just fluttered to the deck but landed on its nose

              should be fine! if you ask online.. you will always get both answers from both camps. I don't see any damage to it and it does not look bent or anything.
              you can give it to me if you like! but you have to give me 2 coz 1 won't be no use to me!

                      I think it's more likely to die during charging than flying. The danger is that there's a break or a weakness in the membrane that separates the two halves. This stops the lipo charging above a certain voltage. (It's been converted into a zener diode). If you charge at high current or parallel charge there could be enough current across the break to start a chain reaction. You can't trust lipos anyway, this one just needs trusting less.

                        Get those bullets changed over to ec5. Don had the exact same thing happen to him recently bullets came apart in mid air.

                          perform a couple of discharge/recharge cycles and see if the battery gets warm. I'd personally use that battery again seeing as there appears to be no piercings or dents.

                            Im happy with the single bullets Pete,i am normally careful with them and when i feel a bad connection i sort it but last night i had just been sat on the mower for an hour and rushed to get another flight in as the light was fading....more haste,less speed
