    what is a good start here, ive had a few planes before but now want a heli,so what am i looking for thanks

    you need to have a chatt with rspblake...as he has turbine helis..

    ..hes a sound bloke.((crasy about heli...-like most of us)..and shure he'll give you very good advice on turbine helis.

      I started at the beginning of the year, and have found the Raptor30 the easiest to learn on, the smaaler electric I have is much more Twitchy and dificault to control.
      I see you live in Chelmsford, where do you fly at the moment. The reason I ask is that in my very humble opinion, join a club and get some tuition from an experienced pilot with a buddy lead, it will save you £££££s

          If you have never flown a heli before then get a phoenix sim not only will this help with you learning to fly it's good for helping you progress with things like nose in hovering and the like, as to a good heli to learn on well if you decide to go electric then all you need is a T rex 500 simply the best, if you go nitro then a T rex 600 is all your going to need.

            i wouldnt advise a turbine as ur first heli, maybe a 600 electric or 500 electric

              a turbine is great to learn on , very stable and well mannered

              BUT
              very expensive to crash


              buy a 30/50 sized model to learn on
              Hirobo Turbulence D3
              a bunch of bls servo's and a 701 gyro
              Powered by an OS91 hz and a MP2
              Winner of the LHC Scale Cup 2011
