  • Forza 700 question

I asked this on HF thinking it was more active there but so far no answer.

Basically - how does the tail fuselage section attach to the frames?

Surely there is some kind of grommet or something on the frame bolts?

Yes, I know this, and I have also looked at that same manual. What is not clear is how it attaches to the frames. There are frame bolts that it lines up with but logic would dictate that you cannot put something brittle like GRP material under those bolts and then crank them down as it would surely be quickly destroyed.

So there must be some kind of grommets or something or is this GRP really tough enough to withstand being rigidly bolted down?

No grommet, slip the cover over and bolt to frame. Never had a problem with it although didn’t keep the machine that long.

Just went & checked mine, the hex bolts come with ali cup washers
which spread the load & clamp the tail boom in place.
