• JR Vibe 90 Clutch Bell

Having problems with my clutch on my Vibe 90 (the original one with yellow canopy).

Looks like the lining could be worn and i may need a new clutch bell, do's anybody know if the clutch bell below has the clutch lining already fitted by the manufacturer ?.

That's my second plan of attack, already planning in case i have to take that avenue :).

      http://www.rcheliaddict.co.uk/engines-mufflers/52814-clutch-lining-how-replace.html

By the time i've sourced some acetone/varnish remover, suitable clutch material, epoxy and paid postage ..... plus my time in searching for all the stuff, it makes paying the £26 seem more attractive.

If the above bell comes with the liner already fitted and last another seven years like the original one then i'd rather take that option.

That said it would be an interesting exercise to change a liner as i have never done that before... haven't read the above thread fully yet but i'm sure it would be no problem.

          Thanks for your reply.

I'll give it a go and make changing out the liner my little project then.

Please could somebody advise where the best place to source "legacy" JR parts from, Fast lads have a few and Midland a few more for the original Vibe 90.

However it has to be said that one mishap with this helicopter then it would probably be cheaper to buy a new TSA 700.

However in the meantime just trying to keep the old girl flying :)...
