  • Forza 450- any common mods / problems / upgrades worth taking note?

I've just picked up a forza 450 kit so looking for any advise on common mods, problems or upgrades that will help me through the build, setup and flight?
i nearly picked up the alloy upgrades for the servo mounts/ms hub, bottom frame fixings, links, tail boom mount and a few other bits but I thought I'd just go with the standard parts to see if they are good enough first!
i have picked up some 350mm spin blades to see if it handles as well as it looks with the bigger disc.
any advise would be very helpful
    thanks in advance

Built mine as stock, and no issues so far. Space is tight - I'm using a Total-G with 2 satellites and no receiver as such. If you had to fit a receiver AND a flybarless unit, you would have a space problem. Space for the LiPos is also tight, but do-able.

I'm no 3D pilot - I much prefer big, open aerobatics, and it will pull loops so big you think it is going to end up in orbit! I also had to cut the rates right back on mine to make it manageable, but those with nimbler fingers and faster reactions will probably enjoy the lightening fast response! However, because of its size - and it is VERY fast - it does tend to disappear extraordinarily quickly!

That's good to know, I've got a choice of msh brain, ar7200bx or a 3gx to throw in with a sat or two so should be safe.
I'm no stick banger so I'll tame it down for the maiden and play with the rates to get it right.
are you using the stock plastic servo mount blocks and the 325mm blades?

Yes, its all stock. The model is certainly way more capable than I am...!!! I did find it a bit intimidating at first due to the extremely rapid response and the very high power-to-weight ratio, but now I've got used to it, I love it!
