Forza electronics help

Hi Guys,

I need some help selecting components for my next heli (the forza 700). I have servos sorted, just need opinions on motor, esc, and flybarless unit?

I was looking at the new talon 120 esc, I really like how you can set it up via the castle link.

I haven't flown for a while so not update with everything current.

Any suggestions would be great :-)

Kontronik mate seriously ! Why use inferior untried / tested ESC's
A nice new Helijve Pro would be far better with a Pyro 750-50 motor In it !

Whats everyones opinion on the Kosmik 160?

Hi Sunny
Got the Forza 700 myself, using a Kosmik 160 and a KDE 700/535 G3 motor, Vbar silverline. Like the way it flies, but not up to 3D yet so only sport flying. Kosmik logs show max current draw of 105 amps on a 12s setup so far.
Canopy is tight though, but mounting slots appear to be made for the Kosmik.

The Kosmik is excellent. The only negative thing about it is the price! (well if I'm being picky it would be nice if it was a bit smaller, it's a bit of a monster).

With the Kosmik you get a very sturdy and versatile BEC, built-in logging straight to a micro SD card and then the usual excellent Kontronik governor. Setup is even easier than the Jive. It can be a challenge to fit sometimes depending on the airframe layout and space available for electrics.

Kontronik Jive 120 pro it's a Kosmik in a heli friendly size. Kosmik if your going monster motor or 14s otherwise I'd take the pro. Motor check out X-Nova XTS very nice and equivalent to pyro comp but better value.

Bolts right in, four slots at exactly the right width so you can slid it backwards/forwards to suit between the motor and nose.

Your right look at minicopter.de their shop so no import duty etc or espritmodels.com often 10-11% discount code but factor in duty. Thee are other stockists and well worth tracking one down superb motors.

Imho forget the Talon not in the same league as Kontrinik.
