ive just received my new stabilizer bars, and there very long, do i need to cut each stabilizer bar to length? also one is ever so slightly curved only noticeable if i roll the bar on a flat surface, will this bar still be ok once its cut to length?

The flybar or stabiliser bar is already the correct length for the model unless you have one for a bigger model by mistake, you cant cut them down or what would you screw the paddles on to?
They really need to be straight,a very slight bend is OK but the paddles must be lined up correctly when all fitted
Be careful if its bent if you try to straighten it you could weaken the metal causing a potential failure

the bend in the stabilizer bar isnt that severe
i would say if i roll the two bars against each other that theres a deviation of about 0.5mm tops. im wondering if the previous owner has fitted stabilizer bars from another model of heli, or cut the stabilizer bars down in length after a crash? im at work at the moment and cant check the length exactly so maybe im wrong about them being longer. the other thing is i thought the stabilizer bars were held in place by the two grub screws at either end of the stabilizer bar?Hirobo Sceadu EVO 30
