Thought i would try one of the small MD series helis.
Md-5 heli
Rotor tec 520mm blades

Build was nice and simple
Head first
Not much to say as its the normal dfc style. All nice smooth and free.
Tail
Pre built but i checked for locktie, a very smooth system and some beefy tt gears.
There are booms avalible for 520, 550 & 620 size blades.
Frame
50mm wide, Lots of room for your electronics. TT gearbox is pre assembled with the spiral gear fitted.
Motor has the lower bearing mount.
Landing gear is nice and solid for the auto's that bounce !!
Main gear hub
Main gear is harringbone and the auto gear is spiral cut. Just check the bolts are locktited and tightend.
The rtf weight is 3.4kg
