Warp owners question

Just been looking on other sites and some people are grounding the tail to the cf frame.
Is it necessary? or just do it just in case the static does build up.

What is every one doing?

Not done mine. But i may be wrong, isn't it already grounded? The belt goes through the belt tensioners which is connected to the motor via the shaft. Is that not grounded?

Not done mine etheir, 6 more flights today and loving the new motor without the squeal :)

Are the new motors available now? My kit came from RC711 so i guess i won't be getting my upgrade parts till after the Chinese New Year :(

Mine came with the new motor & I believe they are available

Warp owners question

Put a volt meter on it and check for continuity between tail case and motor mount. I would go and do it now but it's too late.

Has anyone looked at their canopy front on??

Mine looks like whoever painted it was a bit ****ed..
The paint job is a bit wonky..

Danch mines all setup ready to fly now had to change all the wiring as the canopy wouldnt go on.
ill take some pics later.

Yeah mines not wonky but the paint work is a bit crap tbh

Sounds good, mines all done and ready for the trim hover mode & then good to go :D

Warp owners question

Canopies are made by fusuno. There the reason the launch was delayed.

its a nice canopy but it seems that someone has had trouble setting their lines out. thought id twisted the canopy..

Anyone got any ideas, went to maiden today & when connecting all I'm getting is lost comms, tried everything, Lipo fully charged etc

Hmm,
I had a servo stop working the other day when i first plugged it in. Unplugged it and plugged it back in, and all worked properly again. Strange?? No help to you though dude, sorry.

Thanks & I've figured I was having a blonde moment & plugged the wire in the wrong port of the datapod....doh !

All sorted & hopefully I'll maiden hover in the garden tomorrow :D

Oh dear that is pretty bad, maybe speak to the supplier for replacement

Tbh I think the canopy is the worst quality I have seen on a new heli :(
