Low amps

Just fitted a CC ICE75 to my FBL Atom,had a 5 cell pack charged so tried it in the alley on a 9 pinion,surprised how small the amp draw was,still a good flyable livey on 5S,loops,flips,rolls,inverted etc,these are nearly 2yr old Flightmax 3000mah lipos an still work well after many flights..
the data logger showed this!! the peaks are hard pitchpumps,the fiercest i could do in the space outside..
Maximum amps were 26 and average was 10.5!!!

Thats interesting on my FB Atom 500 I get an avg. of 13A and a peak of approx. 60A. This equates to a peak of 1200Watts which is about 1.6Hp (this is not far of an OS50 which I believe givs about 1.8Hp).

However this is on a 6S pack 10T pinion and governed at 2600rpm so my HS is likely to be a bit higher than what you are running.

Hmmm,i'll do some more logs with a 6 cell and the 9 pinion hopefully weekend..
Surprising how little amps these helis use..
