Jusrt general comments really.
How people are finding them. Compass came out with a list of about 5 issues and what they are doing about them I believe which is great that a manufacturer would do this on a first release and there is not much info around from people who fly them.

All issues are resolved:
New motors
New blades
Missing components added
Better QC is the mission at the Compass factory
The next batch of kits (out soon) have all the fixes...any existing customers have been taken care of

Thats good to hear.
The blades although should have been checked by Compass were not really their fault??
Now just after some flight reports.

I have the 7HV too, but i am waiting for the fixed parts, i only hoovered it 2 times and it feels really good. The heli reacts very direct on inputs as far i can say for the few minutes i flew the 7HV.

I don't think the head setup will have advantages other than the lack of a swahdriver. This machine reminds ne of the Suzu Hans I used to have which was superb.

Here's the maiden hoover of mine last week. Tailrod had some vibrations and didn't lube the thrustbearings in the tailgrips. Now i have done this and mounted KBDD tailblades. I also put some heatshrink over the tailcontrolrod there were it moves in the tailboom clamp and all vibrations are gone now. I'm just waiting for the extra canopy standoffs and than i can rock this monster.
