I have to say i had an Atom 500 and it was a lovely accurate heli made from quality parts. I preferred it to the Trex 500 i also had at that time.

Yeah i have a N5 at the mo and feels locked in compared to previous helis i have owned.heard compass helis are the same just looked at westons atom fbl maybe ?.

If you haven't got the kit yet, give Rob at Evo RC a call. I'm sure he has a couple of kits left and I know they'll be cheaper than Westons.

He hasn't got Atom spares though (unless he'll break a kit) because it was around the time the spares were due to arrive that Compass dumped on Climbout.

Rob is a great guy - its where I got my Atom from and I love it :).

TBH though I think the spares prices from Weston are a bit too much (sorry guys :(). To sort this problem out I bought a second airframe (so I have a complete set of spares) and order from RC711 in Hong Kong. I put in a test order to them a little while ago - approx £50. Postage took less than 2 weeks and was very cheap. Order cost was approx half of what I would of paid at Weston (including postage)

I have to say I really love my Atom and I would not trade it for another 500. I think it is a very intelligently designed machine and looks chunky in all the right places
