  • Stretching the 6HV

I've asked this question in HF but no one seams to want to answer it. Is it possible to stretch the 6HV to swing 700 mains. Was thinking about using a Odin tail and belt. Do you guys know if this is possible? Is the boom on the Odin the same thickness as the 6HV? And could the belt be used?

Bloody hell mate,, are you bored of it already?? That's got to be the quickest on record for someone getting a 50 size (600) & wanting a 90 (700)

It's not only the boom but also the head & grips (maybe??)
Yes the big sigpic is coming back

          Hi Discoferret,

i answered your question on HF, if you want to strecth it you'll have to use the tailboom, tailcase, belt and complete rotorhead of the Odin 90. If you want my opinion, just wait for the 7HV ;)

Yeah I did see your post on HF. I emailed Weston UK to ask if they could give me more info and they said that the boom, strut would fit fine but the Odin pulley is different to the 6HV so he wasn't too sure if the belt would be tight round the 6HV pulley. Do you know if the belt fits perfectly without any modifications?

Do you think I would need a longer flybar when I get the longer blades?
