Final drawings of the new Compass FBL head !

Hi,

here are the pictures of the final drawings of the new Compass Flybarless Head.
Compass Models is proud to announce the release (approx 3 weeks) of the brand new
FBL Rotor Head with built in P.C.S (Phasing Control System)
Continuous Flight testing by our Test Pilots have given exceptional results and confirm
less Power drain on the system. The Rotor Head is fully CNC Machined and Ball Raced.
It will be available in 2 variants as a Complete Rotor Head and as a Conversion kit. The
Drawing shows the 50/600 FBL Head followed shortly by the Atom 500 and OdinV2 versions.

Compass allready made the drawings for the ATOM 500 too, here's the picture. The head for the ATOM 500 will available after the 50/600 FBL head is released !

i think they were early prototypes based on the the Knight3D yolk as the drawings are quite different wrt yolk the shaft clamp arrangement.

Yep Arby,

you're completely right, the pictures shown on the blog are the pictures of the "test"head and not the final production head Compass is bringing out !

By the way, those pictures are also on here in a topic started by Asid.

So the new Compass FBL head which goes in production will look like the cad drawings i've posted !

Has it got solid dampers in the head or do the link rods flex when the grips teeter on the dampers?

where is the up down motion of the grips absorbed?
