Last few days been talking to different people about the building of the Knight sport.
Seeing it from a beginners / experts point of view as well.
Naturally, I got straight into the box to have a bit of a touch and feel session of some of the parts.
Overall, everything about this machine seems ‘tough’, should be a good machine.
Seems most that have built a model or few before would not need to look at the manual at all, So straight fwd.
Beginners reading a few reviews should have no problems, build manual could be better, but most newbie would get help (I hope) and learn the basic from building this model.
This will be a good workhorse for all, a good beginner ship, but kick ass for people that want to push the envelop, without seeing a pound sign every time they fly.
Just go and giving it a thrashing.;)
Awaiting Trvo build review, these are my general comments.
LIKES:
Price (How do they do it)
Toughness of frames
Well thought out taking the best bits from a selection of manufactures.
DISLIKES:
Servos Screws (2 different size screws "Futaba eyelets") some needed a hammer LOL
Fan could have had the location for 2 magnet (1 plus counter balance)
Switch mounting (standard switch)
Canopy looks better on inside (smooth on inside but grainy on outside)
Manual (Throttle servo shown wrong way around) few mistakes
