I have built mine,no problems,quality of materials is brilliant,much better than i expected..Tail assy looks nice and solid,head parts perfect,frames look very strong,will be flying when weather permits

Compass have a real winner on their hands here,i had a bit of trouble getting the belt untwisted thru the boom but only because i could not use my normal method due to the tail gearbox being sealed as opposed to open like the Rappy

All pre done fixings were secure,whole tail assembly is of very high quality,much better than Raptor or Sceadu..

Cant find any play anywhere,i am using a Futaba heavy duty switch which was a tight fit in the available space but it did go in Ok..The Futaba switch is very chunky though..

Servos are all in,Hyper 50 is in,perfect fit,will be ready to fly at the weekend..

This has all the makings of being my second favourite heli after my Knight pro,or maybe i will like it better than that one once its flying,it really is that good..

Just a little update on the review, I've been a little busy with work for the last few weeks (they [U]made[/U] me go to Italy to work in the sun :p) , the 'build' review is about 1/2 way done, a million pictures, had some problems with lighting for the photo's as I worked through the night but it's all good...

Hoping to get some more done tonight...

Maybe once they get some sort of distribution network at the moment for most people it is still easier, cheaper and more accessible to buy a Raptor or if they have a bit more cash a Sceadu.

Most people with half a brain won't rely on one dealer for support, we all know at the end of the day it comes back to the importer but when the importer and only dealer are one and the same you have no options for your spares at all...unless of course you are on a promise from said shop for pushing said product around the forums no matter how good or bad it is even though there is as yet no support...

My LHS hasn't even heard of the bloody thing and they have dealings with said importer on a daily basis :rolleyes:

Ok Phil, So there is only one retailer, good point. But that doesnt take away the fact that everyone thats bought one, loves it and has not said a bad word against.
And Im completely neutral cos I have not got one. (YET) :eek:

Read my post again, I never said it was poop, mediocre or brilliant just that the situation at the moment is that there is only one dealer...more people buy it then all of a sudden spares are a challenge...maybe, it may never happen but I'm not sure I would tell any new flyer to get a Knight on the strength of a handful of people here who think it is better than a Raptor. You can easily get parts for a Rappy/Sceadu as there are so many holders of parts which can't be said for the Knight [FONT=Impact][SIZE=7][COLOR=Red]"YET"

with the raptor there is only one dealer and they are well known for being poo. How often is the raptor 30 out of stock?
