It was reviewed in a recent edition of one of the heli mags. I can scan it and post it when I get home this evening if anyone's interested.

It's UK built, and had a lot of input from Dive Fisher, who was flying it in competition at the Nats. There was also a prize draw to win one. I had a punt for £2 - you never know your luck.

        I'll sort it this evening.

PM me your email address, or if it's easier, I can post it as a download in the gallery, with a link in the thread.

Probably best not to say that out loud. Copyrite and all that. I had a good look at masters. Its a nice looking machine but i do have some concerns. The servo supports clamp to the servo then the assembly gets rubber mounted in the frames. This means that the servo can still move around its better than nothing but i think push pull is better. It is also belt drive which is heavier and not as free running as single stage gear drive. Nice and smooth but saps power. Im sure its a great f3c machine.

That looks a well engineered Heli, now if only they made a Gasser version with a good parts backup system they would be onto a winner.

I was impressed at 3DM when Dave Fisher flew the first Avro Blitz in F3C mode, very smooth but his 3D performance on the Sunday was a little short after the tail hit the ground.........

ah well funny you should say back up support.

Aprrently they got the kit sorted.. They then went out and did all the spares. Then started selling the kits when they had the spares ready.

So they have spares apprently and the back up to support the machine in place.

Has anyone notice some parts that are very Robbe looking. I saw it the 3D Masters and though it look's very sweet machine....I think for me it looks over engineered. Simply things for me work best yes some neat features but are they really needed.

I think they have taken ideas from other machines and used them in the design. But its head desgin and set up options are nuts....

                          Weak... not so sure....

I am going to try one in one of my lessons with Dave as I can see myself using one once I have learned.

Its a lovely looking bit of kit and has some really nice design ideas, the engine comes out very easily and lines up perfectly without dial guage.

They made 40,000 spares before they sold a kit.

I commented on how nice it all looked before Dave ever mentioned his involvement.

                              Looking forward to trying it.

Have a look on Dave Fishers, flyin fish site for a link to the Blitz web site.
The older I get, the faster I was!
