• Blitz Avro questions

Hi

Name is Anders from Sweden, so sorry in advance for the bad English.

Im in the market for a new F3C bird, it whas whery close that I got a JR sylphid. But after looking at the Blitz Avro its getting more and more appealing.

So ofcourse it rasied some questions.
The biggest worrie I have is that Blitz, as a smaller company, will stop support the Avro in the future. How does the market look for Blitz Avro? Is the support from Blitz good? Any trouble getting parts etc?

How many Avros do you see on a F3C competition in the UK ?
Has any heli magazine done a review of the Avro? If yes, where can I find it?

Is there some "must have" uppgrades you should get with the avro?

How old is the design of the Avro?

If FBl system would be allowd in the future for F3C, can you convert the Avro to fbl using stock parts?

Also, anyone have one for sale ? :)

BEst Regards

Anders

Hi mate,

I owned an Avro in 2009. They first came out in 2007.

They are a small british company, but dont let this worry you, they provide an excellent service, and are fully stocked for spares, and can be ordered direct from the website.

Dave fisher still flys and Avro for F3C. (see http://www.flyinfish.co.uk/index.cfm?pageid=54 & http://www.aha-online.org.uk/index.cfm?pageid=21)

The only upgrade I put on mine was a boom brace, other than that, it doesnt need any.

I have now moved to electric, and so have many F3C pilots. If I was still using nitro for f3c this is the heli I would have!

Hope that helps?

James

Blitz Avro questions

You won't be disappointed mate, they fly great. :)

Have a look at the demo videos at the 2007 3d masters:

http://www.fly3dx.com/videostore.php

Search for 2007 3d masters, demonstrations, then download the two Dave Fisher videos.

If you've seen the Avro up close then you can appreciate how solidly engineered it is. The drivetrain and linkage is very sturdy and extremely well thought-out.

I have no room for any more helis right now but if I did the Avro would be at the top of my list, they are really classy.

I am sure the excellent personal customer service and support will be continued. Recently Canomod have listed the Avro as a new model on their website so it must be fairly popular. The review was in December 2007 model Helicopter world.
