  • Esky Esmart

    Hi all.
Not a vintage heli, but certainly not manufacturer supported, any more.
Would like to hear from anyone over here who has one, or maybe has some spare parts they might like to sell.
I have just crashed mine, and the bits I need I have had to source from around the globe. Means my heli is going to be grounded for quite a while.
Especially would like to find heavy duty (red) head dampers and carbon fibre lower frame sides.
I have also posted in the Wanted section, for extra coverage.
    Thanks
    Whirkybird

You don't appear to be 'connecting' with anyone. Maybe you're the only guy to buy that particular piece of Esky.

Have you tried the ESmart sub-forum at Helifreak?

Wasn't this one labelled as a Pantera in the US as well? Might be worth looking for that name too for parts?

          Knight Sport - Spartan/BLS251, Hyper 50, 3050's on cyclic, 3D mixer arms

              Hi All

              Thanks guys for your thoughts.

              Murph
As I remember it, the Pantera was a 50 size nitro, made by Twister. Not sure whether any parts are compatible, but probably not.
              Good thought though, thanks.

RC Mods advertise Esmart spares, as does Heliguy. Trouble is, they are out of the common parts, and cannot restock because the factory is no longer supplying. I imagine they stocked everything to start with, but naturally crash parts, booms, flybars, feathering shafts, main shafts etc, would sell out first. What you see now in stock are the less popular parts.
Add to that I have the semi metal model, which has a longer boom and a 6mm feathering shaft, so my problems are compounded.

When I crashed mine, I needed boom, belt, mainshaft, feathering shaft and blades, plus a few odd bits. I managed to locate a boom and belt from a forum buddy in Lithuania, some feathering shafts from Canada, and mainshafts I am getting made over here. I have found companies in Finland and Holland, who have some stocks, but things are getting tight.
Out of interest, there is a company in Malaysia that seems to have good stocks, but their post costs are ridiculous. The bits I need would cost $27.20, but they are proposing to charge me $72.80 to get them to me. Not gonna happen !!!!!!!!!!!!

The reason for starting this post was to see if anyone was still flying this model over here, or, if not whether there were any spares about people would like to dispose of.

              Thanks

At times it is easier to get bits for heli's from the eighties than ones just a few years old.... The pace of modern manufacturing; obsolete before release....

No. The 900 is trex 500 sized, where the Esmart was a 550 I think.

I know Nutcaze on YouTube loves his Esmart.
Current fleet: Goblin Thunder Sport (700), Trex 700L, Logo 600, Specter 700, Henseleit TDR, V-Baaa control.
Next heli: I have pretty much everything I want. Maybe I'll upgrade some electronics or something.

That's right the esmart takes 520 to 550 blades, One great heli that esky never promoted properly.
Its the best helicopter that esky ever made very fast and very stable.

Hi kevkawasaki, Have you still got the esmart spares, if so drop me a pm with how much you want for them, depending on how much may be interested.
