It does look very nice but plastic paddles! also the build quality doesn't look as good as the new Align range.
Today's outlook is fine for flying.

        What's wrong with plastic paddles?

The stock TT blue paddles that come with the X50 kit are mental fast on the cyclics.

The build quality of the X50 is very good. It's a typical 3D machine - designed to be flown and trashed with simple, functional mechanics. Just like all Align helis, it fits the consumer demand for cheap parts, ease of repair and lack of fiddling about with shims and stuff like the high end helis.

It does what it says on the tin.

        I like my X50.

the align fan boy's need to have a flight on a x50
as the 600 would go up for sale very rapidly

            build quality is good
            flip/roll rate is fantastic
it is very stable in forward flight
and it feels very light in the air
the only thing i'll knock it for is the canopy colours are poor
but buckers would soon cure that

and with a 12s set up it would be totaly mental

Yes, the X50 is tiny and light as a feather next to my Vibe 50. The X50 has plenty of punch with an OS50 and the Vibe has less ooomph with a YS56 - that's a significant difference in weight and wind resistance.

God only knows what a X50 would be like with a 55/56/57 engine!
