Main Shaft Bearing Blocks

Hi there

Does anyone know if the main shaft bearing blocks for the X50E are the same as the X50?

Whilst flying today I noticed quite a bit of nod whilst running up and shutting down the X50E. I've subsequently found that the main bearings are loose inside the plastic blocks. You can slightly waggle the head from side to side which is not good.

I've sourced some metal blocks from RC Heliparts in the Netherlands but they are listed as X50 spares. They do look exactly the same though. Pt numbers are PV1406 and PV1407.

Any help would be much appreciated.

I saw that link and they seem a bit undecided.

Anyway I got the new metal blocks today and they are just the job. I took out the main shaft and head complete along with the existing top plastic bearing block and the bearing was fine. The retaining hole in the block for the bearing however was sort of minion shaped without the arms and legs. It was only the locking collar that held the bearing place. Happy now though with the new metal blocks.
