  • Cyclic servos dont fit

Have a Titan E325 that belongs to one of the guys from the local indoor club. He has managed to strip the gear on one of his servos. He only hovers and they are cheap. I ordered a set of both Align 410s and the Savox 0256 however the botton portion of the servo is too long and wont fit in at the angle requyired. Am I missing something or is there only a certain type that will fit

Simple answer is you have to file the holes out. It is a paine but you only need to do it the once

The problem applies to HS65's, they wont fit either unless you do the filing mod

I assume you are talking about the aileron and pitch servo's.
These two servos mount in what is described as a servo tray each side of the mainframe and from what I remeber you need to file these 'trays' to allow enough space to fit the replacement servos in.
If you need a better explanation post a picture and it will be easier for me to see the problem, but I'm pretty sure that from what you describe a simple file around the servo mount hole will sort the problem.

            Filing

Hi, I will get a photo but its not the mounting holes that are the problem. The servos are physically to tall and hit the main frame before they reach the mounting tray. Not the width but the depth. So basically they dont fit all the way down for screwing...the main frame stops it. Does that make more sense.

              Reviving an old post...
yep, had the same problem, i packed mine out a bit and it seems to work ok, be careful not to twist the servo arm over too much.
