LiPo Battery Charger Issues

I purchased a new LiPo charger with my Mini Titan which doesnt seem to do what it should. The charger is a "1st Hobby" charger, for both LiPo, NiCAd etc and it also does balance charging. When I connect it up and set the charger to the correct amps, voltage and no. of cells, and then press start, the battery goes ino "Checking Battery Please Wait..." mode and it doesnt come out of it, as if the unit hangs. The charger transformer gets hot very quickly and so does the LiPo battery. WHen I fisrt connect it, the charger beeps continuously and says something like "Err Input Voltage".

Am wondering if there is not a problem with the charger as everyting is set up the way it should. The instructions dont give anything about error messages / explanations thereof.

Anyone had similar issues?

Take it and the lipo back to where you purchased it and get them to plug it in and try it.

only time i seen the error input voltage is when my battery i use to charge it has gone below the range the charger works at ... I would take it back and get em to have a look where ya got it from
