I've looked but tbh haven't found anything cheaper than the stock motor, which is out of stock anyway.
Most MT peeps stick a 2221-8 in there when the stock motor goes, but that's £55-65.
But if you only pay with cash you pretty much limit your options. A cheap motor from Hobbyking is a no no then. How do you cope with zero online shopping??
Yes I agree with what you say! I do rely on Midland or Fast lads as they are close, and a short drive away.
ps motor fixed found a very loose wire not connecting, re-solder job done (motor not burnt out) as thought.
