  • Cyclic servos DC0915

Hi Guys, just wondered if any of you guys know where I can get a pair of cyclic servos for a V1 FBL, they are Ace DC0915's. I stripped a pair after forgetting to start my timer and she landed a bit hard, can't believe how hard it is to get a couple of what you'd think were common servo's. Any help would be great

Are you sure you mean DC0915's for cyclics? The DC0915 (TT8161) is the rudder servo. Should be DC1016's surely, if it's for cyclics?
The only place I can find still doing them is a Spanish seller - rcspare.es. https://www.rcspares.uk.com/rc/produ...l-servo-tt8161
      But a 2-4 week wait!

Both Fast Lads and Midlands have stopped selling them. Considering how fragile these are, I'm not surprised they stopped stocking them. As with most ACEware, it's designed to get the heli sold, but you really wouldn't want to keep it on longer than you have to. Probably now's the right time to look around at good alternatives. There's the good old reliable HS65MGs or HBs, or Savox is becoming a good choice on the MT - SH 0262 £18 from Fast Lads and also at Midlands, same price.

What about the Savox's in my post above? You must've read it while I added them in. They're in stock at both Fast Lads and Midlands. No waiting. I think you'll have trouble getting hold of any DC0915/DC1016, as people just aren't stocking them any longer.

PS Amerang don't sell to the public. They're the importers of TT stuff, and they sell/distribute to our LHS's.

Thinking of just replacing all the servo's while I'm at it, any idea's on a reasonably priced tail servo, might as well while I'm ordering.

Just wondered if anyone knew the servo frequency of the stock DS0915 tail/head servo's. I've a GT5.1 FBL unit on my Titian and want to make sure that when I replace them with my new Align DS415m that I don't/do have to make any changes, I know the 415's are 200Hz but don't know want the old ones are. Did goggle but couldn't find anything....

I hope I'm quoting the right thing, but they're quoted as "Pulse Width: 1520us" if that makes any sense.

It's also listed as Pulse Width: 1520us on Amerang's site too.
