Headspeed is in the 2200 region. It really doesn't need to run that much headspeed being so light - it is ballistic.

I am using the stock 11 tooth pinion.

      Cheers,
      Rob

I have not got a G4 but for info on the 700mx, 750 mx and 800mx line of motors I would say the advantage in a 700mx is you will get one cheap now as no one really uses them, However it is not as good of a motor, it is less efficent than the new 800mx which ok is crazy power which you dont need but if you set it up with a lower head speed such as 1950 it will give 5 mins maybe more flight time and a very consistant head speed because it is not even trying at that head speed. I have my idle one set to 1950 and my idle 2 at 2200, for me I still find the power stupid at 2200 but I'm trying to get used to it as it helps out in the wind! I can tell you that I used to run my 750mx at 2200 as well with similar flight times but on the 12t pinion it didn't like my 1950 head speed very much, sounded like it was lacking torque at the low head speed, I guess it is because of the higher kv!

Anyway hope that helps you out my friend!

hi, thank you, its very helpfull for me because i just build it today and want to know if the 11 is OK because i have a 13 teeth also.
but understand that thunder tiger recommend to use the 11.
          one more question
what Throttle percent % you use to get 2200 in this setup? i believe you are using the governor mode.

          thanks again

            Each to there own really.
I use a LiFe pack on my DS610s mate. The majority of the discharge cycle is at 6.6v so only 10% over their rating

The TT bearing I just push in the boom from either end then insert the TT...with the way they fit and with the plastic surround they are not going anywhere and I see no point in gluing them...the grub screw and pins that secure the gears for the tail it is best too wind the grub screw in 1st and check that it can be seen through the hole for the pin before assembling....
