  • Elevator servo not centering on Raptor E550

    Hi
    I have just built a Raptor E550 with a 90 degree E-CCPM swash.
Now, i have centred the servos at mid stick and all push / pull links are the same length and everything is set up straight and level.
At mid stick my swash is level, when i give an aileron command either left or right the swash always returns to centre, as the aileron is worked from 2 of the servos. When i give back elevator the swash returns level, but when i give forward it doesn't! if i jab the stick it will level.
My cyclic servos are Savox SG-0525MG (digital) that i have removed from my Titan. I checked that all the servos worked fine and return to centre before connecting the links etc.
I don't know if the servos are under powered or its because all the ball links etc are brand new out of the packet and require wearing in, or am i being over critical as this is an old design and i am more used to my Trex 500 120 degree Beastx set up.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Dan.

thatll just be tight ball links Dan. My Rappy 90 was similar. Now its bedded in a bit theyre lovely. The 0252 savox is plenty strong enough, and I presume you are on 6v?? on 4.8v it might be a bit down on power, but 6v will be fine.

You can size the links to free them off, but as I have done just fly it they will bed in and be like butter before you know it
Some say my left nipple is the shape of a Raptor canopy.......... And that for fun I chase sheep in wellies 3 sizes too big. All I know is I am 3D Clod

Yes, i'm running on 6V, so as you have done, i will fly it and bed them in.
