Does this help Stuart
I will say I'm very impressed with this heli, I've used 3300 6s and 5000 batts, Flys well on both.
For a budget ARTF 550 I would recommend it.
Thats if you can ignor the flybar (Stuart) and enjoy the heli for what it is, and don't want to pay stupid money for an up and running 550
The only thing I will up grade for my flying is harder head dampers.

Dan I've found in the few years that I've been flying helis there are some right "nobs" out there and I could'nt give a toss what they have to say because most of the time they are "Heli Tarts"Originally posted by Dan22 View PostYes i agree they are a nice heli.
My kit was also criticized yet again by somebody at the field yesterday, he said the Align DS650 tail servo on my Raptor is rubbish and they don't work and when i said i was considering buying an X50E, he said that Thunder Tiger are stuck in the past and old fashioned. Obviously hasn't seen an X50 or G4 up close then!!!
Dan.
you mention the names TT or Raptor and they go into a dissing frenzy. they don't seem to realise not every one wants to be or pretend to be a 3D master.
You will find anyone who has had and flown a Raptor of some sort will not diss them because they are an enjoyable heli to fly.
