Remote glow

I have a Raptor 30 V2 with an OS engine, the problem is each time I start my engine I have to remove the canopy to get at the glow glow plug, I need to fit a remote glow, the trouble is I don`t know which one I need to buy, has anyone got any idea which one I get please, the glow plug is an OS no 8, a link would be a big help if possible guys, thanks in advance.

You can buy either one that glows from you remote so basically extending the glow lead or you can buy an auto glow .. Hang on will find some examples for you

Buy the Switchglow Pro Switchglopro.. flick of a switch on your Tx gives the glow.. Expensive for what it is but I love it!

I been using the prolux one and its cheap and as long as you soft mount it and have no high expectations then it does what it says on the tin. I had to change the switch on it but its been fine ever since.

Thanks guys, plenty for me to chose from there, I like the idea of the switch glo but at the moment i`ve only got a 6 channel radio set but once i`ve upgraded to Spektrum DX8 i`ll look into buying one or the other glo system, at the moment i`ll get one from the link Mike posted, cheers guys

Doesnt matter you've got a 6 channel.. just Y-lead the gain channel and have the SWG Pro on with RM on the deck as we all fly in HH

Sorry mate your gonna have to be a little more specific, I never was any good with abreviations i`m afraid, i`m still pretty much a beginner

The switchglo pro and gryphon auto booster are very good . I prefer the gryphon auto booster as its just slightly simpler and very easy to setup

I take it you know how a Y-Lead works and also your gyro? When I said RM and HH I was talking about the gyro... Rate Mode and Head Hold which is based on the gain you set. What you do is Y lead off your gyro channel, then one to the gyro as normal and the other end to the Switchglo Pro, then set your Switchglo pro to activate when the feed is -50% (Rate Mode). So for your glow you flick the assigned gyro switch on your transmitter from head holding to rate mode and you'll get your glow

Yep I understand all of that mate, thanks for your help, i`ll get one of those but it won`t be this week as i`ve just spent nearly £300 on a Raptor 30 and and a load of bits and peices for it, thanks your help mate and everyone else as well, much appreciated guys.
