  • Raptor 60 paddles

    Hi

    Advice re-flybar paddles please.

I'm rebuilding a Raptor 60 and the paddles are in two parts, originally on the flybar was a piece of heatshink which held the two parts together.

Should these parts be glued together, as the manual "it say nothin"?

    Cheers

    Peter

A small amount of cyano glue is adequate to hold the parts together. I have these same paddles on one of my Xcell 90s. The reason they are in two parts is that you can add weights inside them to alter the flying characteristics. When glued with a drop of cyano, they can be quite easily re-seperated if required using a craft knife.
