V-Max Servos

Hiya fellas - I'm back!

I'm just converting my R90 to a V-Max (picked it up cheap).

What servos would you pros recomend on the cyclic? I've got 2 x 9450s and a 9151 from the standard R90 - could I use the 9450s and get a third for the CCPM?

I'm more into F3a stylee than hardcore 3D type banging if that helps.

Ideally you want the servos to be a similar age and model number. But I could of told you that when I was around today

I've put a set of 9255's on my V-Max and they are awesome, hold her rock steady and plenty of power to the head.
Got them off fleabay for 130inc postage.

9451 would also be a decent choice.

9351 = 153oz/inch 0.16s/60' £80 each
9255 = 112oz/inch 0.17s/60' £70 each
9451 = 96.6oz/inch 0.13/60' £63 each

Any more offers?

And what EXACTLY do you have for sale nutz ole buddy of mine??

You won't regret buying the 9351s, if you go that route - I use them in my Vibe and they are very good servos!

But then the three 9255's at 130 inc is very attractive!! Delivered in 6 days, that wasn't bad!

The 9351s seem to be about £60 from the far east - I'll have to think about it - thanks for your input fellas (hi Rob).

I put BLS451's in the V-max, not had chance to test yet, still got a couple of bits to finish.
I got the same for the 600N (still to build).

0.10 sec / 10.6 Kg-Cm @ 6.0V

Plenty quick, plenty powerful and brushless to boot.

i would agree with either 9351 or 9451 not too mutch between them both will do a good job ...

i have been looking at JR8717 lots of people running these direct off of 2s lipo/lion not sure about futaba but JR and spektrum rx's are both able to take direct 2s connection just need a special reg for the tail and throttle. or if you have an arizona you could use that too..
