hi everyone had the raptor out in the back garden today , was hovering it on half stick ( throttle) ,when i went to increase the stick it coughed abit and cut out , after that it wouldnt start when i did eventually get it started i had to lift throttle stick up to quarter to get it to fire up . i left it a min to warm up and when i lifted throttle stick up it cut out again , any ideas anyone ???????

Had the same problem and put an extra washer on the glow plug and it sorted itIan's Squadron

i checked glow plug and seemed fine , fired up straight away when first went out with it , have checked fuel lines n ok , was hot as already had 1 hover out of itRaptor 50 , raptor 30 , eflite blade 500 3d, blade 450 3d, spektrum dx7s,

Well I would do what these guys have told you to do, change the fuel lines and the glow plug.
I had this problem on my rappy with a TT39 in it, turns out it was running way way to lean, they are really not the easiest engines to tune .
I did get it running although running rich and leaning at the end of the flight, in the end I went out and got a OS 32 engine, worth every penny.

i have noticed alot of fluid up the exhaust side of canopy , have put a new glow plug in , am not that clued up on nitro engines im afraid as its my first nitro heli , so everything i try is very much a learning curve am afraidRaptor 50 , raptor 30 , eflite blade 500 3d, blade 450 3d, spektrum dx7s,

Having said that, the bearings are expensive. But I would still go for one every time.Happy Landings.

i bought the heli off my mate second hand , he has flown it everywere , he sold it me so could get a 60 size raptor , ive fired it up several times now and it would always fire up straight away , nw it wont start up unless throttle is on quarter stick ( put starter in start spinning it up then move throttle stick up abit till it fires up) ,have changed glow plug and fuel lines so they ok ,today when i tried it after spooling it up i put throttle stick to min and it cut out
also when was spooling it up tilll light on skids i could see the blades bobbing up and down towards nose of heli ,would this be due to some wind that was on today ??????Raptor 50 , raptor 30 , eflite blade 500 3d, blade 450 3d, spektrum dx7s,

put it back to factor settings on the carb and try from there i had one the same put it back to factory settings and went from there and it will start run and idle fine now after a bit if tweeking but its a lot better now
are you running differnt fuel to what it was set up for ?JAY
