  • And another thing

    While I am at it.....

I bought this 90 second hand and have flown it ever since, just as it came.
Now going through the err - slight re-build process, I notice that it has the tail rotors fitted wrong way round - as in they are trailing edge control, whereas the manual has them leading edge control.

Not noticed any problems with the tail, so does it not matter which way round they are?

    for any help

Bit like the old 450 Pro tail blade flip?
Guess it depends on the geometry of tail before and after....

Although looking at RaptorTechniques it looks like leading edge control is advised

It was actually dead simple to do - so I did!
Just undid the pitch control links, reversed the screws and flipped the blade holders.
Looks like it should now - we'll see what effect it has - hopefully none!
      Cheers guys

Remember when you did this with your 50 and she nearly did the chicken-dance on spool-up? I'll let you do your own maiden with this one!

Only too well mate....only too well. Mind you - that was for a different (unidentified at the time) reason.
This won't get close to spool up unless I'm sure the tail is correct and working properly.
