Been getting a very nasty glitch on the Raptor 50 SE & on first look I couldnt fathom what it was. There was a bit of play in the main mast due to the top collar not being snug enough against the top bearing but I didnt think this was the cause. I also noticed the tail pitch slider had a fair bit of play in the linkage which I have just tightened up, its an alloy butterfly with brass threaded insert. Now Ive tightened it up the tail is notchy & Im not sure if the bearing is stuffed or I've not got it right & the brass bush is rubbing the bearing. So I loosened the brass bush off again but its still notchy. So I'm confused where this knotchy rubbing is coming from. Could it be the tail belt twisted over & rubbing if it is it's been like this since I got.

Yeh mate you did.
I meant when I put it back together
I've found what it is, the two bearings in the plastic housing are both notchy I will pop in to the shop on the way back from flying tommorow & get them replaced. Can you remember if this plastic housing is a standard part Steve?
It is definately the bearings as the brass shaft is wearing on its outside where it runs in the bearings.
I guess the metal to metal is what is causing the huge radio glitches Ive been getting.
