So, the wife went out and bought me a DSX 9 for my birthday

I've installed it as I think it should go. Is this fine?

be careful of the new canopy on the first dull days you fly it
as it can be a little difficult to see
but it looks great on the ground

Woooo, stop right there! Do NOT fly this model! It is unsafe on TWO accounts!

            1) It has a computer keyboard stuck to the side - will cause uncontrollable roll axis flight characteristics!

            2) There is a glass of white wine on the table - are you a man or a mouse? White wine is for pre-pubescent girls! A real man drinks Cinzano and Lucozade!

Cable ties have been known to cut through servo wires!!!! I put some fuel tubing around them or spiral wrap the cables.

Turn your pitch servo horn around. It straightens up the link. The way they show you in the manual is kack.

Lastly!!!!! Get rid of those 591's!!!!! Shocking!!!!

I imagine only if they have been on too tight, I've never seen happen it in any other RC I've done, or in any of the real life cabling I do, in fact its the prefered method of securing cables as we find they don't cut wiring!

Cable ties, i have never had any issues either, would say that a loose tie is worse than a tight one, loose could allow chaffing under vibration, tight should be ok.
