  • a few pics of todays flight

Hi just thought id post a few pics of my latest flights with the rappy.
Been flying helis for a while now and have to say the rappy is my fav heli so far after owning a esky belt and esky king as well as a trex450 and dragonus.
been lurking on the forum for a while now but don't post much so thought id change that and say hi
The heli itself is nothing spectacular but is fine for my level of flying right now.
    cheers

I watched your vid with very happy memories as my first heli was a raptor and it took me from hovering (grinning for months ) to basic flying around, wishing you the same fun and happiness that my Raptor gave me
PS keep posting the pic·s n vids

PPs my only moan this week "its to hot to fly" (39 deg when i finnish work )
and no air con in my garage !

I love my Rappy 50, been flying it on/off since I built it in 2004. Been mostly using the 450 Pro recently although I flew it the other weekend and my flying has improved a great deal since using the 450 as the usual hack...

Thanks for the welcome and replys.
yes the rappy feels so much easier to fly than the smaller helis i used to fly & so much more stable, love every flight and cant wait for more
tomorows a family day so no heli flying but we are going to the beach so fingers x will get some stick time with my powered glider.
hope you guys have some good flights also.
          cheers

Well i destroyed my Raptor Titan SE on monday, however 2 hours before that I was having so much fun with it, I was thinking that everyone should have one. Mine flew very straight and flattered my ability - which is probably why I over extended myself and buried it

I know the Redline 53H engine gets some stick but for me it had buckets of power and was propelling this thing like a rocket.

                'Cool!

The heli I felt most at home with and did most of my learning on in the beginning was a Raptor 30. I still have a Raptor 50 and was going to sell it and then I flew a couple months ago and decided I don't want to sell it.

Plus I have a very nice GRP canopy I have not even used yet.

i do know of the club as i have bought a few items off some of your members from the "for sale section of the site" so will have to make an effort to join soon as it would be nice to fly/chat with some like minded people i know that you also use the bentham domes for winter flying but don't have anthing small enough for that lol.
                        cheers
