    There seems to be a lot of movment in the feathering shaft as though the damper were to soft or somthing.I have just put a quick uk feathering shaft in do you need to put extra spacers in or does this sound normal for the standard head.

    This is uasally caused by worn out dampers. You can add a washer or shimust outside the damper but add the same ammount on both sides. Its commonplace on smaller helis 400-450 size but not on the larger nitros.

      The standard dampers are quite soft on the raptor 30, but you can get stiffer ones, like from the raptor 50, but it does sound like yours have worn and could do with changing
