  • titan se tail rod

has anyone mounted the tail servo at the front? the kit come with a bent rod which i gather goes thru the 2 plastic loops on the side and you use the big rod for the tail, and the joining piece hold the 2 together, but does it work well, like doesnt flex or nothing? or is it better to leave the servo hanging on the tail?

like the servo at the front coz it keeps all the crap off it, but if it doesnt work very well then im leaving it on the tail lol

Servo at the front is the norm for Raptors, although a tail mount is available. Some helis eg Knight 3D have a kit to move the servo to the front from the tail! Mine's at the front and it works a treat.

My rappt v2 is at the front and works fine. My titan is at the back like yours but found that I needed to add extra weight to the front to get the cog right?. It may better to fit it to the front?

Mines mounted at the back pete. I know what you mean about the oil ingress so I taped mine up to try and stop this. With it at the back it means you can get a slightly larger battery on the front to get the c of g correct. More flying time/less charging
