exhaust ...leaking

..i have an os 91 c-spec,,,with an mp2....what the best way to stop the exhaust from leaking all over the heli..?

is it ok,,for it 2 leaking,.??...what i ment is theres after burn ,coming out from the joins,,.......

how to i stop it,,.....

im using mag 20...

just its spitting back ...out the joins..and covering the heli,,,..
i know you carnt completely stop this,,,,,just it seems to be quite bad...((and the wifes going mad,,,about the fuel no the heli....

I used epoxy between the pipe and header joint (not on the engine joint though), never had any problems.

ive been told to use paper gasket and cut it to shape. will try it on my new os50hyper next week and report back

...the epoxy idear...i dont like the sound of....but ill give it go....as nearly evey1 i know that flys with the mp2...uses this ,,,epoxy..

just dont seem right wacking glue on a mp2....lol

Ade told me to do it when I bought an MP2 for my old Raptor 60, had the same pipe with the same glue on for almost a year and on 3 different helis. I know quite a few people that do it.

..cheers dave......i got some of those...ill try them...((but need to filing out the gaskit to match the exhaust port,,/...better that glue ...i think.
..im doing it as we speak,,,..
if i can undo the bolts,,,,,lol.,,bit too much locktite,

..thankyou people.....just repared exhaust...and fitted gaskit,,,and epoxy..

so im all good 2 go 2morrow....for a flying session @ hayling most of the day.carnt wait,,,,
ill let you know the out come if it leaks,,,,
