    i agree about the evo
i've never flown one but do still fly the early sceadu very often
once i've finished with the evo head on my sdx50 (as parts are now coming through for the sdx it won't be long)
i'll put the head onto my old sceadu and then i have an evo apart from a few frame differences that won't alter how it flies

and the great thing about hirobos parts can be interchanged from many of their models

you'll love the sceadu once you fly it

    edit
i forgot to say the evo head i had off you is in good shape
i had a few set up problems with binding on the sdx but i've now cured them by adjusting the rod lengths, the head flies very well

after trying a 600 and 700 and selling them i don't think i'll go back to them

'Cool! I'm glad to hear it has worked out and it's better being used somewhere than sitting on my shelf.

I have about £340 to spend on a 50 sized airframe but this one i need to hang onto & make earn it's keep.
It's got so bad I'm even contemplating getting rid of my 500 to fund the right model.
The raptor will be good and reliable Martin for sure, to be fair i quite like the look of it.
The elyq was ok, the things i didn't like on it i am sure will be ok on the comp model, didn't like the direct link ccpm, took alot of time to get it flying right, and i know you can have either this or push pull like on the 600.
Vibe 50 martin but spares are expensive as hell.
RJX extreme but think it is in the same boat as the vibe.
600 superpro would be the ideal chioce if you like your pro

What is there left to fix now they have released the Titan SE?

I know it may be boring, but if it is working why change it just for the sake of change?

Oh I do love my pro mate but shes too prety.
I just cant get past that "dont wanna try stuff" incase she gets stuffed in the dirt.
My 500 is just too big to fly low in our enclosed site the 450 is just to small for me to see what I am doing & I'm unable to fly close in with it yet.
I've only realy had success with the 50's & 90's as I can fly them above the trees at altitude, hence why I wish to get another 50 to take the strain off the pro.
Maybe someone has a pro they wish to swap for a 500 cf, yeh i wish

600 sport then mate, will be alot cheeper to fix than a raptor and a great heli.

I certainly see where you're coming from with the ElyQ I had a Raptor 50 and still have a Raptor E550 and it flies very well, not a 3D hack but if you're in a smooth flying mood there's little better.

if you can hold off buying then i'd wait as the new 50's are coming out and make an informed decision. for example the velocity 50 is due in 2 weeks ish so news will filter through soon. i can't wait to get mine!

if you feel confident enough to try the outrage you can get a pre order kit and get 2 canomod canopies with it included in the £430 ish price.

i seen jamie fly his new rappy 2/3 weeks ago and it did look nice but at end of day it's a 12 year old ish heli design and TT have the same designers porsche use i think since nothing really changes.

                    cheers

Trouble with that is you are buying new and untested again which i think Martin is trying to steer clear of.

if people didn't buy and try new things we would all still have nexus 30's or raptor 30's. evolution is part of the hobby and one of it's best appeals for me anyway.

there is also the new hirobo which is probably worth a shout since you have ruled the elyq out.

                        cheers

Granted but let someone else try them..

Although i am the first to admit i have been partial to the odd pre order in the past LOL

there's nowt wrong with the r&d at hirobo
if it an't right they don't sell it until it is
just think back to how long it took them to bring the xrb out after it was first seen at a show

now off the toy side of things the sdx50 flies well, ok i only had a few minutes flying before the one servo failed but how many helis are you that confident with its handling that it goes inverted within minutes of being airborn (ok s**t happened but it wasn't the heli's fault)
i've had three flights with it with an evo 50 head on it and apart from a binding problem with the evo head that needed a few adjustments to use the sdx swash its been fine
